Rosalind is a naval architect specialising in salvage, wreck removal and shipping incident investigations. As well as having given written and oral expert evidence in court she also has recent experience providing technical advice on a number of complex and politically sensitive salvage and wreck removal operations worldwide.
Her work has included development of salvage specifications and management of the bid evaluation process in addition to overseeing the operation itself. She is particularly experienced in dealing with seriously damaged large container vessels following grounding or collision, including the practical aspects relating to discharge of damaged containers from flooded holds, management of structural condition and refloating operations.
Previously working in offshore design, Rosalind has a strong technical background in complex hydrostatic and hydrodynamic analyses with significant experience in offshore installations, moorings, ocean transport, motion analyses and metocean studies.

Ken is an experienced master mariner with extensive seagoing experience on container, bulk carrier, general cargo and offshore support vessels. He has had command as well as other management and training roles in the offshore sector on conventional and DP vessels as well as working on salvage tugs and ice breaking supply vessels.
He later worked in the salvage industry becoming a salvage master where he also developed his expertise in casualty naval architecture. Ken then managed the salvage arm of a major international contractor in Singapore. He was involved with a number of large salvage projects where rapid response, evaluation of casualty damage and residual strength, contract negotiations, operational and budget control, pollutant and cargo removal and storage, chartering of vessels and the monitoring of all salvage assets were all part of his daily routine.
He now heads up the Singapore office of Solis where he brings his years of experience in the region and knowledge of the maritime markets in South East Asia to assist our established and growing client base.
