Our safety in design approach utilises a strong application of safety principles and strong engagement in closing out safety in design recommendations during design.  We work closely with our clients to ensure that, as well as relevant standards and Classification Society rules, we also closely follow the operator’s own processes which can often be more rigorous and require a greater level of safety. 

Consideration of environmental impacts is clearly a key aspect of modern vessel design as part of the safe design assessment. This involves not only consideration of emissions reducing technology but also flows through to vessel construction, materials and recyclability.
