Incident Investigation
We have experience in the investigation of cruise ship, ferry, and large yacht major incidents. Our naval architects carry out strength and stability assessments where required in support of this work.
Our consultancy work also covers pollution incidents, personal injuries, machinery failures and fires, and we provide condition surveys, fleet risk and resilience assessments and new-build and ship management disputes.
When required, our Rapid Replay service provides cost-effective, fast reconstructions of incidents such as collisions, groundings, heavy weather damage, heeling incidents and personal injury. Reconstructions are, depending on the availability of data, provided within 24 hours.
We also provide environmental compliance surveys and audits, and have investigated pollution claims, including discretionary cover and the application and adherence to Environmental Compliance Plans.
Loss Prevention
Safety analysis and risk assessment is provided for passenger vessel operations, as well as all passenger and crew activities onboard and while transferring to and from a vessel.
